Lenten Message-Pope Benedict XVI PDF Print E-mail

Pope Benedict XVI's message for Lent 2010 is a reflection on "The justice of God has been manifested through faith in Jesus Christ." (Rm 3:21-22). He reflects on the "profound link between faith in God who 'lifts the needy from the ash heap' (Ps 113, 7) and justice towards one's neighbor."

To assist your reflection on these themes, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has an entire page of Lenten resources. The USCCB has also created an Examination of Conscience based on the Seven Principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
