Catholic Charities publishes a monthly 'Parish Social
Ministry' email newsletter. It's designed to educate people about the Catholic
Charities Federation, highlight resources on Catholic Social Teaching, promote
volunteer opportunities, and link parish leaders with each other.
Subscribers receive 1-2 emails each month, so the volume is
minimal. In addition each issue has an 'unsubscribe' feature so you can
always opt out.
To subscribe, please send your name and email address to
Greg Rohde at rohde@ccstl.org .
Since we occasionally send some emails to specific deaneries or zip codes,
please include your parish and/or ZIP Code as well. Lastly, to ensure
that the newsletter does not end up in your spam filter, please add rohde@ccstl.org to your address book or
your list of approved senders.
If you like the Parish Social Ministry Newsletter, please
forward it to a friend. The most current issue can always be found on our
home page: www.ccstl.org .
For even more frequent updates on the Catholic Charities
Federation, you can find us on Facebook and become a Fan of Catholic
Charities St. Louis.

Catholic Social Teaching
Two Catholic periodicals recently had special sections on Catholic Social Teaching.
The April 2, 2010 'St. Louis Review' included a special insert 'Just What does the Church Teach about Social Justice'?
Our Sunday Visitor published 'What every Catholic needs to know about Catholic Social Teaching'
on March 14, 2010. |
